One final question. Is there a way to speed up the synchronising speed?

No problem Baszwaan, feel free to ask as many questions as you like, this is an open forum, the more questions you ask it might help others too who might have a similar question.
My personal experience with improving Synchronization speeds has to do with a combination of things...
1.) The quality of my internet connection, typically I have found Cable Broadband is better then ADSL.
2.) The stability of and processing power of my PC, generally PC's that are 3 years or older tend to process things slower then the newer i5 and i7 class PC's same goes for the Mac's. Also the quality of your Operating system and how well maintained your PC is with disk DE-fragmentation and the disabling of additional third party applications that may affect the performance of your PC also cannot be overlooked.
3.) I think the team is looking at providing a copy of an updated block chain record for users to download in the future. Check with one of the higher level admins in this site, my understanding is that they may make this available to download so users like yourself can just start the process where they left off.
