Fastcoin-qt.exe is not responding

I am excited to buy some Fastcoins but the process of syncing my wallet is extremely frustrating because it is not working as per the instructions Fastcoin sent.  Here is where I am at.

Step 1: Download the PC wallet from here - https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/0B37Llt3dDAzHczdVMkk3dE16aU0

I was able to successfully get the Wallet to open but I received an error message saying the wallet was out of sync.

Step 2:   Expedite the sync process following these instructions -

After I complete the instructions in Step 2, when I reboot my PC, the Fastcoin wallet does not open.  Instead I get an error message which says "Fastcoin-qt.exe is not responding" and nothing happens...

What am I doing wrong?

I solved it by NOT running the wallet.
I mean, after installation you have choice to run the wallet or not.
DONOT run it. Close immediately.
Then download bkchain, extract, copy etc....

That fix it.
